Al Kitmân. Discretion as a way of life.

In Arabic it is called al kitmân: discretion. For the Ibadis, it is a principle: to live one's faith without showing it. In Djerba, this principle shaped a society without ostentation, egalitarian, of great moral rigour, attached to a rational reading of faith.

This tour is a journey through time, in the footsteps of this discreet world, its hidden mosques and its way of inhabiting the island.

A guide by your side, a support vehicle behind you: you ride with a free mind, at your own pace. Open to everyone, no training needed. On the programme: tracks through the olive groves, the monuments of an island inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, a picnic by a paradise beach and a picture-postcard sunset.

One last mosque, where the table is laid.From October to mid-November and from February to April. The rest of the season, the table is laid at the previous stop.
Sunset
The sun sets over the sea, from a place we keep for the end.Then back to your hotel.

Afternoon timings follow the time of sunset, which changes through the season.
